1 ~ Use your SIZZLE POTS for popcorn. Melt butter or coconut oil, add the corn & wow,

it works great.  Peak through the lid to know when it is done! Thanks, Gloria, for the idea! 



2 ~ Throw some beans in your mill & add that flour to your bread dough for extra protein. No one will ever  guess your secret ingredient. Whole millet &/or sunflower seeds add extra crunch and texture.


3 ~ FREEZE DOUGH for later use. Thaw overnight, shape into a loaf, rolls, etc. Let rise and bake as usual. It has been a real blessing to have some dough ready on short notice.


4 ~ ROUND LOAVES ~ Let rise on top of the stove instead of in  the oven. Less chance of them ‘crashing.’


5 ~ Save room in your freezer. Use your FILTER PRO DEHYDRATOR to preserve chopped onions, herbs or other marginal veggies or fruits. Dehydrate a 2# bag of frozen mixed veggies. It becomes 1 C in a jar.


6 ~ Dehydrate beets by blanching to remove the skins. Then grate or slice & dry. Whirl in your food processor to make your own beet powder. SAVE $$$! Why order heart healthy beet powder? Make it yourself!

Come to Palmer via the Glenn Highway. At the last light before heading to Glennallen, turn onto Arctic headed out of town toward the Butte, from Anchorage a right hand turn. Proceed about 3 miles across the Matanuska River to Clark Wolverine Road on the left. Turn up C W Road, following all the signs and general traffic pattern, go another 3 miles. Where Clark continues straight, turn left onto Wolverine Road. Go 1.5 miles to Lazy Lady Lane on the left. We are the 5th driveway on the right. Wholy Living signs should direct you right on in.
