More Bountiful Beans

Use your Sizzle Pot to cook up a big batch of beans, any

 variety or combination. Store in freezer in 2 to 4

 cup portions. Thaw to use in soups, salads, or

 spreads. Here is a simple healthy alternative to

 sandwich meat with a lower fat and calorie count, but

 high in fiber! Use it as a sandwich or cracker spread or

 a veggie dip!

 

  • 1 ½  cups of cooked beans
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • handful of grated cheese

 

Combine beans and salsa in a food processor or with a stick blender and process until smooth. Will keep several days in the refrigerator.
