                    June UPdates

Greetings!
Summer is truly in full green! Smelling the lilacs, perennials popping up, dirty fingernails, buzzing bees, loooooong daylight hours … all revealing summer’s arrival. I am especially grateful my ‘allergy’ season is past!
Most of our spring co-op orders have left our granary, filling pantries around the State! (If we haven’t connected yet to retrieve your Spring Order, contact me ASAP!) Most all the back orders arrive this week. We still have a good supply of consumables & equipment, so feel free to come & shop. Shop either Tuesdays from 3 to 7 or Saturday from 10 to noon.

        *  With that said, due to our church camp commitments, instead of Tuesday the 18th and July 2nd,
I’ll be here Thursday the 20th and Monday July 1st, from 3 until 7.
       * Call, if you want to stop by at a more convenient time. If we are here, you are more than
          welcome! 745-5639 or 354-4115

RECIPE OF THE MONTH

SUZIE’S FLOURLESS COOKIES

Suzie Rawalt shared this recipe years ago. It is one of my favorite for a great grab & go treat!

Since learning about the exponential power of soaked & dehydrated oats, these are even better! Just in case you missed studying the oat groat vs sprouted oat chart, I’ll copy it here for you. Just take a minute to compare the differences. It is almost jaw dropping! Amazingly, this chart was first published in 1993!  I am totally committed to soaking them, now that I see the difference!

Here is an amazing 3 minute you tube about the 10th President of the US, John Tyler, born 1790. (Tippecanoe & Tyler, too) Watch his grandson & great-grandson’s interview filmed just 1 year ago. That is history! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGiL2PgC17A

Now a bit of Spiritual Food…

Truth always wins. Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” James 4:7 & 8.

Last night our Pastor exhorted us to stay focused on the Lord. The devil does his best to draw us away from Him, His Word, our family, and ministry. When we draw nigh to God, our hearts will be be drawn to the Truth in the Bible. That is the true abundant life! No regrets, just a fruitful life. Let’s make it a memorable summer, full of Spiritual Fruit with a close, prayerful walk with the Lord!

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Isaiah 40: 28 - 31
